Classes last approximately 2 hours each. Live attendance is not required but recommended whenever possible. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live.

Daylight savings time will end in the United States on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Depending on where you live, this may or may not affect your class timing. In countries where DST is not applied at all, class will be one hour earlier starting March 8.

Offered: This course is offered continuously over a full year. Classes do not stop during the regular semester breaks, but students need to re-enroll in each subsequent part.


  1. Students should be women above the age of 17.
  2. Successful completion of all Ribaat Level 1 and Level 2 Core course.
  3. Successful completion of at least one Ribaat elective.
  4. SIR 301 and 302.

Summary: A continuation of the Level 3 Sira courses, this course continues the study of the life of Prophet Muhammad (s) in detail. In Parts 3 and 4, the course will examine the major events and incidents that took place after the hijra to Medina, extrapolating the wisdom and lessons one can gain from them. Weekly assignments focus on these lessons learned, enabling students to draw parallels to modern day struggles in their own lives and make lasting changes, following in the footsteps of the Prophet (s).

Course Requirements: Students are expected to attend the weekly online lectures, complete one or more weekly assignments, read the assigned material, complete a term project, and review and sit for a final exam.

$20.00 late registration fee after January 18th (if seats are available)

Auditing is not available for Level 3 and 4 courses.
