Prerequisites: Students should be women above the age of 17.

Description: An orientation course into the Ribaat Teacher Certification, this course serves as the first step of the registration process into the certification program. Through brief recordings and activities, the course forum will provide an introduction to the program as well as a platform for submitting the required documentation to enroll in the program. Completion of this course is a requirement for earning the certification, and all course activities must be completed before graduation.

Registration Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable, non-transferable)

Students will have access to course forums, recordings, and files until successful completion of all certification requirements.

Summary: An orientation course into the Ribaat Religious Leader Certification Program, this course serves as the first step of the registration process into the certification program. Through brief recordings and activities, the course forum will provide an introduction to the program as well as a platform for submitting the required documentation to enroll in the program. Completion of this course is a requirement for earning the certification, and all course activities must be completed before graduation.

Andrea Scholarship Application

The Andrea Scholarship Fund awards one convert Muslim woman each academic year a complete scholarship to enroll in the Ribaat Teacher Certification.

Approved applicants will be awarded full tuition for all required courses, all required textbooks, as well as travel and registration expenses to attend one Ribaat Retreat.

Timeline
Applications accepted from September 25, 2020 to December 10, 2020 
The successful candidate will begin her courses in the Spring Term January, 2021.

Who Can Apply
- Muslim women over age 21 who accepted Islam and identify as converts

Application Requirements
Application and documents must be submitted on the Ribaat Academic Program Andrea Scholarship Fund Application forum. Users need to create a Ribaat account and enroll in the course.
Enrollment key is: andrea

Required documents include:
- a completed application form
- college transcript or current college/university GPA
- application essay
- two letters of recommendation

Interview with the Education Director of Rabata
- Selected applicants will be invited to complete an interview once all documents are received and approved

Retain the Andrea Scholarship
- Maintain continuous enrollment in the certification track each term
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Pass all required courses. For incomplete courses, the applicant will need to re-enroll and pay full registration fee.
- Complete the certification within 5 years
